In the midst of challenging times, our school district requires active leadership in its School Board. My passion for the success of our schools, in which my two children currently attend, and my involvement within the system drives me to serve you on this Board.

Experience is on my side. On the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) Ad Hoc Budget Task Force Committee, I fought to establish developer fees comparable with surrounding communities to address the increasing student population. As the Fremont Council PTA Liaison, I fostered communication between all Fremont school PTAs and the School Board. With the Fremont Education Coalition, I raised budget concerns in Sacramento, and have represented parents’ concerns while on the FUSD Pupil Overload Task Force. At the school level, I served as PTA President for two years, PTA Fundraising Chair, PTA Membership Chair, and am currently a School Site Council member.

As a trustee of the School Board, I will strive to maintain FUSD’s excellent standards, listen to concerns of all our residents, and open communication between the School Board and the city government so that decisions are made with our children as a priority.
